How Synchro Replay works:

Synchro Replay is the fastest and most powerful type of Alexandrite laser, allowing controlled damage to the target tissue without affecting the rest of the tissues by absorbing melanin. It is an innovative device for dermatology, a combined system with the most powerful Alexandrite source (3 Hz – 125 W), together with a 70 W Nd:YAG laser of 755 nm wavelength, 25% more powerful than any other system on the market. This laser can be operated in continuous or pulsed mode. It has a sapphire tip with cooling system to keep skin temperature under control. It has a diameter of 20 mm, and facilitates the delivery of pulses with a very short duration but extremely high intensity.

Recommendations before and after laser use:

– Do not resort to hair removal by pulling out hairs one month before the procedure. During the course of the treatment it is necessary to remove pilosity by shaving;
– It is not recommended to use laser during pregnancy and breastfeeding, when taking photosensitizing medications, open wounds or lesions.

How a permanent hair removal session with Synchro Replay goes:

During the first session, the medical staff analyzes the skin photo-types, color and hair thickness to determine the number of sessions needed and to draw up a personalized treatment plan based on the patient’s needs and medical history. The area to be treated is marked with a white eyeliner and the moles are covered. The conductive gel is then applied, and the procedure itself consists of moving the end of the device over every inch of skin. Both the operator and the patient have to wear UV protective glasses.

How many sessions are needed and what is the optimal time between sessions:

The number of sessions to achieve the desired result is determined individually for each patient, depending on several factors, such as the treated area, hormonal status, skin color, hair thickness and color.

Typically, the number of sessions varies between 6-10 and the time between sessions is 4-12 weeks,
but this may differ depending on the criteria specified above. Results are visible two weeks after the first session.
