What kind of injuries can be treated at Ortokinetic?

Depending on their severity, traumas can be followed by soft tissue injuries, limb bone fractures, and visceral injuries. At Ortokinetic, we specialize in treating simple and complex fractures, as well as tendon and ligament injuries of the limbs. For patients with multiple injuries, open fractures, or cerebral, pelvic, or abdominal conditions, we recommend going to an emergency department.

How is Ortokinetic different from a state hospital?

At Ortokinetic you will meet orthopedic physicians who have done residency training at Floreasca Hospital Bucharest – the largest trauma center in Romania. In the 6 years of training we have learned to deal with most emergency situations in Orthopedic Traumatology. We continue to collaborate with renowned traumatologists to offer you the best diagnosis and treatment.
In the case of a fracture or ligament injury it is important to have first of all a correct and complete diagnosis and a quick treatment to prevent complications. We offer expertise in diagnosis and prompt treatment.

As with chronic conditions, we advocate conservative treatment whenever possible.

At Ortokinetic you can choose the doctor who consults you, you can choose a location close to you and we will spend as much time as necessary to explain the condition and treatment options. If fracture fixation surgery or tendon or ligament repair surgery is required, we can guide you in choosing the type of implant that will ensure rapid healing and optimal results. The operations are performed in a timely manner and with a team of experienced doctors.
Last but not least postoperative recovery can take place in Ortokinetic Centers and we offer you a wide range of recovery modalities.

What types of trauma are commonly treated?

We frequently treat limb fractures and complex ligament injuries such as:

Clavicle fractures
Ruptures of the coraco-clavicular ligaments with disjunction of the acromio-clavicular joint
Proximal and distal humerus fractures
Fractures of the forearm (radius and ulna)
Complex elbow traumas with fractures, dislocations and multiple ligament injuries (elbow triad, radial head fractures, lateral or medial ligament tears, dislocations)
