Like all other medical procedures, MRI is contraindicated in certain situations. That’s why our doctors will take great care to make sure that a proper anamnesis is carried out to ensure that the investigation is possible.
An MRI is not indicated if the patient has a pacemaker or other biostimulators installed; if the patient is wearing metallic bone grafts; if the patient has valvular heart prostheses, vascular stents or any other metallic implants that are declared incompatible with MRI exploration.
Also, during the MRI, the patient is advised to remain still so that the image and the final result are as clear as possible.
