Therapeutic indications: sprains, muscle tears, fractures, ligamentoplasties, prostheses and osteosynthesis. Acute post-traumatic (Day 1 – Day 3, non-thermal use only): analgesic and anti-inflammatory, antiedematous. Chronic or sequelae post-traumatic: fibrolytic action.
To recover after a competition, a deep massage with the TECAR Winback equipment effectively loosens the muscles that have been put to the test by the intensive effort. These stimulating and relaxing gestures restore the biomechanical structure more quickly, while restoring muscle tone. Muscle contractures, stiffness, recent or old muscle injuries: muscle strains, tears, muscle contusions.
For prevention, the therapist’s mission is to identify the weak points of the patient’s biomechanical functions, to which he will associate a stimulation and recovery program to prevent any type of trauma. He will then correct the athlete’s posture in order to avoid vicious positions that weaken these functions.
